C. Wu, Yang Sepong, Yao Shiong Shio, Yu Khe Thai, Willie Dy Buncio, Go Puan Seng, W.J. Wen, Peter Lim, Francis Leung, and many others. Elected vice-president of the Manila chapter of the World Brotherhood (founded at the UNESCO home in Paris in 1950) is Modesto "Fary'" Farolan. Above picture was taken at Malacañang when Manila Rotary Club officials presented President Magsaysay with a copy of Rotary International Magazine of September where an address of the President, entitled "Partners in Democracy" is printed. The President, left, is reading the copy, while Ramon C. Ordoveza (center), Manila Rotary club director, and Juan F. Nalepil, another Rotarian, watch after handing him the copy. This Rotary magazine has more than half a million circulation in more than 60 countries of the world. Present with the party also but not shown in the picture, were KC Wu and RR de la Cruz. A candidate for membership in the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers is C. S. Gonzales. Congratulations to Harold "Hal" Manning. His Manila Trading & Supply Co. assembly plant turned out its 100th Ford car assembled here. At a meeting of the Social Security Commission to receive suggestions from the American Chamber of Commerce for the implementation of the Social Security Act were three Manila Rotarians: Secretary of Health Paulino J. Garcia, chairman of the commission, Paul M. Parrette, president of the ACC, and Teofilo "Rex" D. Reyes, commission member. RCA Communications signed a contract wit Philamlife for group hospitalization and surge insurance for its employees. We find Charles "CA" H. Clark, RCA vice-president, signing. Meeting with three secretaries of the Japanese national committee of the ICC, on the participation of the Philippine national committee in the Asian committee on Asian and Far Eastern affairs are Justo N. Lopez, and Dr. Manuel "Manoling" Lim. Honored with parades and reviews by their ROTC's were UE's Francisco "Dalup" Daluper and FEU's Teodoro "Teddy" Evangelista. Host to the delegates to the three-week international conference on nutrition and health education (now going on in Baguio) was Arturo "Ar Tanco of the Food Enrichment Enterprise. The party was held in Tagaytay last Sunday. Participants in the round-table discussion on employment sponsored by Town Hall Philippines included Dr. Francisco "Dalup" Dalupan, chairman of the Philippine labor-management council. Signing for the Philippines in the 20-country protocol on air travel was Daniel "Dan" Me. G mez, vice-president of PAL. The protocol increases the maximum liability of air carriers for passengers killed or injured in airplanes to $16,582 A serenade was given on October 4 for UE President Francisco "Dalup" Dalupan, who marked another birthday anniversary.
