Head of a new investment firm, the Acceptance and Investment Corporation, is Carlos "Charlie" Palanca, Jr. Among the directors are Paul "Woody" Wood, Ramon "Monching" V. del Rosario and Leonides "Leo" Virata. Ramon "Monching" V. del Rosario, given the title Civic Leader of the Year (1955), addressed the seventh annual meeting of the Community Chest of Greater Manila. The Homeowners Association held a three-day conference recently. Its treasurer is our own Romeo "Romy" Villonco, while the board of directors has, among others, Juan "Juanito" Nakpil and Vicente "Vic" A. Rufino. Re-elected president of the Philippine International Kennel Association (PIKA) is Ralph Hawkins. Led by its president, Gaudencio "Gaudy" Anto nino, the Producers and Exporters Association of the Philippines, a new organization, conferred recently with the secretary of commerce and industry. The Business Writers Association of the Philippines picked the following Manila Rotarians for awards: Hans Menzi, Paul Parrette, P. E. Domingo, and Juan "Juanito" Nakpil. In addition, some firms managed by Manila Rotarians were also given awards by the BWAP. A warm welcome to E. A.
