The Rotary Balita No. 749 to 774Summary: President Herb and Rotary International have just been honored by the government of the Dominican Republic which has decorated Herb as a grand officer in the Order of Merit Juan Pablo Duarte. This recognition of Rotary's leadership in that country is deeply appreciated. President Herb Taylor and his wife, Gloria, left last week for a full month of Rotary visits in Ibero America. Following a brief stopover in Miami, Florida, U.S.A., they flew to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to attend the third annual international gathering of Rotarians from islands of the Caribbean area. Then their itinerary takes them to South America with Rotary visits in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Ecuador.
