We have just received from Governor Art Ilagan advance notice and some highlights of the coming District Assembly which will be held next month in Dumaguete. The advance program is as follows: Registrations and calls and pre-assembly fellow- ship gatherings on morning of Friday, 23 April Fellowship luncheon at noon followed by 1st Plenary Session. President Perico Gonzalvez of Dumaguete, District Governor and Monching Ordoveza of Manila to speak after luncheon. Monching Ordoveza will talk in "Using Rotary Literature." Fellowship dinner at night with musicale and the staging of "Accepted with Regrets" by Dumaguete Rotary On Saturday, 24 April morning the following will speak and answer questions from floor: "Club Service" - "Naning" Agcaoili of Lucena "Vocational Service" - "Patrick" Pineda of Tarlac (Past Pres.) "Community Service" - "Johnny" Paraiso, Pres., Cagayan "International Service" - "Abe" Abellera, Baguio "Rotary Foundation" - "Bill" Dy Liacco, Past Pres., Naga On afternoon after fellowship luncheon, the third Plenary Session. Luncheon speaker will be District Chairman of Golden Anniversary Committee (to be appointed by Governor Nominee). From 2:00 to 6:00:- a - Workshops or group meetings of Incoming President with Dist. Governor and Governor Nominee b - Workshop or group meeting of Incoming Secretaries, presided by PDG Ben Legarda c - Group meeting or workshop of Club chairmen of Golden Anniversary committee- by the District Chairman of Golden Anniversary Committee d - Group meeting of Governor's Representatives for 1954-55 by Gov. Nominee Pons de Leon e - CLOSING SESSION: - Extension Opportunities and "What are Your Questions" by Dist. Governor - A Summary and a Challenge - by Gov. Nominee Pons de Leon Saturday, 9 p.m. - Reception and Ball. (Formal) Sunday, 25 April - Guided tours of Dumaguete followed by Pienic or dinner at Bais Central.
