The Rotary Balita no. 747 (June 10, 1954)

As announced in the last issue of the Balita, the Rotary Club of Cavite held last May 30th, a meeting intended to propose a joint and concerted movement of all the civic organizations of the province to work for the restoration of peace and order and to define a parallel line of action among the entities represented in the meeting. At the initiation of able President Milvir Virata, the meeting included the Cavite Jaycees, Knights of Columbus, Master of Masonic lodges and other civic organizations of the province. President Danding during his speech (picture above) urged the approval of the recommendations issued by the Rotary Club of Cavite (see Balita for May 27). Col. Baclagon of the Civil Affairs Office, AFP (picture above) and Col. Fidel Reyes (see next page, below), provincial commander of the PC in Cavite, delivered general remarks and made timely observations in connection with the recommendations of the civic leaders of Cavite.
