The Rotary Balita no. 743 (April 8, 1954)

At 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, 16 May, the cornerstone for the headquarters of Rotary International will be placed in the new building at Ridge Avenue and Davis Street in Evanston, and it is hoped that shortly thereafter the president's office, the office of the Rotary Foundation, and the central office of the secretariat will be able to transfer operations from Chicago to Evanston. All Rotarians are invited to attend the corner-stone ceremony, in which the following Rotarians will participate: President Serratosa Cibils, Vice-President Laharry, Past President Gundaker who is chairman of the cornerstone committee, Past President Spain who is chairman of the headquarters committee, the President of the Rotary Club of Evanston, the architects and the contractor.
