Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff BGen. Carlito Galvez, Jr. handed over aP280,000 facsimile check to Frank Evaristo, President, Alay Lakad Foundation, Inc., for the project of the out of school youth to finance scholarship educational assistance and livelihood training in consonance with this Alay Lakad year’s theme — “Kabataan Suportang Bayan.”

The 46th annual walk-for-a-cause generated a total of P700,000 from various government agencies, the private sector, and civic organizations. This year’s walk-for-a-cause was participated by Two Hundred Thousand walkers 200,000, held last Sunday, at the Quirino Grandstand, Luneta, Manila.
