The Rotary Balita no. 627 (August 18, 1949).

The Manila Rotary Club and The Inner Wheel Club met in a joint luncheon for the first time at the Riviera today. It was a very gay affair, what with husbands and wives joining in to give the occasion a real "family" touch. A special feature was the distribution of Rotary handkerchiefs with Rotarians' nicknames embroidered in them. The program immediately followed the luncheon, assisted by the usual combination of speeches, vocals and declamations, namely: PROGRAM 1. Vocal Solo by Rotarian Joe Barredo. 7. Spanish Declamation by Rotary Ann Dolores Ordoveza. 8. Piano Selection by Ben Legarda, V.P., Rotary Club of Manila. 9.
