The Rotary Balita no. 762 (January 27, 1955)
In a meeting of the Manila Rotary Club at the Manila Hotel held last Jan. 13, former Justice George A. Malcolm singled out three distinguished Cited were the Rev. George Wright, Presbyterian missionary; Juan Posadas, former internal revenue collector and later Manila mayor; and Antonio Escoda, who acted as Malcolm's right hand man during his incumbency as president of the Manila organization. Malcolm brought greetings from the Rotary clubs in Jackson, Michigan; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Hollywood, California. He urged the organization of more clubs in the district. District Gov. Ramon Ponce de Leon commended the Manila Rotary for the friendly spirit of its members. President Gene Puyat reviewed the accomplishments for the last six months.
