The Week That Was

Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chairman Andres “Andy” D. Bautista spoke before Manila Rotarians, Visiting Rotarians and guests where he asserted that the Philippines has, on record, the longest list of candidates with as many as 7,000 vying for elective positions in 2016 and even proposed to adopt electronic ballot processing as a means of achieving more accurate results that would dissuade tampering, and thus, essentially, yield faster results for the 2016 Presidential and National Elections. An interactive public forum followed suit post the speech of Comelec Commissioner Andres D. Bautista.
