Senator Serge Osmeña is currently the Chairman of the Committee on Banks, Financial Institutions and Currencies and the Committee on Energy. Sen. Osmeña’s legislative efforts have been focused on measures that would transform Philippine society into one that is kinder and gentler to all Filipinos, especially those who have less in life. He seeks to promote inclusive economic growth and help the poor escape from poverty through the creation of more jobs, lowering the costs of doing business, reducing the bureaucratic logjam and adopting international best practices.
