September 14, 2017

Manila Rotarians trooped to the Rouge Bar of the New World Makati Hotel for the First Rotary Club of Manila Fellowship for Rotary Year 2017-2018. The event was likewise a testimonial gathering for VP Babe Romualdez who was recently appointed and confirmed by the Commission on Appointments as Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the United States of America, for the newly-elected Centennial Board of Directors of our club and as a Birthday Fellowship for September-born Manila Rotarians.

Newly-elected Centennial Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Manila led by PE/Dir. Susing Pineda convened at the Gallery 1 Room of the New World Makati Hotel as mandated in our By-Laws.

IPSDG/IPDCoS/DE/IPD Albert Alday attended the Joint Meeting of the Rotary Club of Manila Sta. Ana, the Rotary Club of Manila Premier, the Rotary Club of Manuel A. Roxas Boulevard Manila and the Rotary Club of Manila Binondo Prime, entitled, "The Power of Your Personal Brand" at the Midas Hotel and Casino in Pasay City.

DGE Rudy Bediones and I attended the 27th Induction Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of Dasmariñas Cavite at the Vikings Luxury Buffet Restaurant in Pasay City where my classmate, Great President Basilio "Doc Onin" Niño, Jr., was inducted.

DGE Rudy Bediones and PDG Vince Carlos attended the 6th Charter Anniversary and 7th Handover and Induction Ceremonies and Mooncake Dice Game Fellowship at the Legend Seafood Restaurant in Pasay City.

September 17, 2017

Manila Rotarians visited the soldiers who were wounded during the Marawi Conflict at the Philippine Army General Hospital in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City where we brought cheers to them through an impromptu program where the Rotary Club of Manila World Famous Chorale serenaded them with a Birthday Song as well as others from our fellow Manila Rotarians. Birthday celebrants for the month of September among the wounded soldiers were given gifts from us. The Miss Philippines Candidates which included Ms. Butuan and Ms. Zamboanga exchanged pleasantries with all the wounded soldiers and Pepsi Cola Philippines distributed their products to them. After the visit, PAT Muhammad Aslam treated the Manila Rotarians on hand to dinner at his Kabab & Curry Restaurant in Makati City.

DGE Rudy Bediones, PE/Dir. Susing Pineda, VPE/Dir. Lance Masters, DE Raffy Alunan and DE Jackie Rodriguez attended the Rotary Meeting for Victims of War and Natural Disasters together with DG Emmanuel "Loy" Cosico and PDG Lyne Abanilla at the Infinity Tower Suites in Makati City.

DGE Rudy Bediones attended the District Rotarian Birthday Fellowship at the Vikings Luxury Buffet Restaurant in Pasay City.

DGE Rudy Bediones and PDG Obet Pagdanganan attended the 31st Handover and 32nd Induction Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of Manila East at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, Pasay City where my classmate, Great President Arnold Aglibot, was inducted.
