Special Message of Past Rotary International President Gary Huang on the Occasion of the 69th Charter and Charity Night of the Rotary Club of Taipei

(as transcribed from the video sent by President Jimmie Policarpio and DE/Dir. Issam Eldebs)

“... Please allow me to welcome all of you once again to join and participate on this happy occasion and wish you have a very pleasant stay here in Taiwan, Republic of China. As you may know, exactly 35 years ago in 1982-83, I served as the Club President of this club. And during that meeting, the Charter Ceremony, we signed the sister club act with Rotary Club one, the Rotary Club of Chicago at Grand Hotel. And today, I’m very glad to see that under the leadership of President Jack (Tsai), we signed the sister club relationship with the most senior Asian country, Rotary Club of Manila. Thank you. Rotarians would you please rise and welcome them. Mabuhay! ...”
