February 15, 2018
The Board of Trustees of the RCManila Foundation met at the M Cafe in Makati City to discuss One Rotary One Philippines One for Marawi Project among others.
The Board of Directors and Officers for Rotary Year 2018-2019, otherwise known as the Centennial Board and Officers, led by PE/Dir. Susing Pineda held a Photoshoot at the 3rd Floor of the Ayala Museum in Makati City. The entire Board and Officers were present and elegantly clad in their formal barong and black pants characteristic of genuinely Filipino gatherings. Thereafter, lunch was served courtesy of PE/Dir. Susing Pineda.
The Centennial Board of Directors and the Planning Committee for the Centennial Celebration of the Rotary Club of Manila listened to a presentation of a proposed project by the Ayala Foundation, led by its President, Ruel Maranan, for the Rotary Club of Manila at the 3rd Floor of the Ayala Museum in Makati City.
Manila Rotarians celebrated a Special Children and the Elderly Valentine’s Fellowship at the Hospicio de San Jose in Manila. The event organized by PD Phillip Ong, Chairman of the Special Children’s Committee, was truly a touching event to remember as a singer, a magician and the Cheer Up Missions graced the event. IPSDG/PAG/PP Frank Evaristo took care of the food for the said event. Rtn. Zdenek Jankovsky provided the magician while Rtn. Ray Davis took care of the singer. Manila Rotarians immersed themselves with the special children and elderly during the course of the program. The event also served as a vehicle to raise funds for the Hospicio de San Jose-Norzagaray Project to which many Manila Rotarians heeded the call.

VPE/Dir. Lance Masters and PD Phillip Ong checked out the Hospicio de San Jose Norzagaray Project in Norzagaray, Bulacan to see what needs to be done and what our club needs to raise to fund the project.
February 18, 2018
PD Oscar del Rosario distributed old clothes coming from children and friends while he likewise conducted a mini feeding program for marginalized children at his Lilim Forest Conservatory in Real, Quezon.
February 19, 2018
Former National Security Adviser and Former Parañaque Representative PVP Roy Golez was interviewed by Leo Palo over DZME regarding the controversial acquisition of two (2) naval frigates from South Korea. He said the best is to await the findings of the Senate. He likewise agreed that certain aspects, especially, on the weapons control systems and combat management system, should be discussed in an executive session.
The Rotary Club of Manila represented by AS Rene Policarpio spread joy to children in the Abundio Torre Memorial Elementary School, Barangay Balintawak, Lipa City, Batangas, complete with magical and clown performances from Cheer Up Missions Inc. of New Orleans, Louisiana and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada before a crowd of approximately 150 grade schoolers.

PAT Val Araneta passed away.
The Rotary Club of Manila conducted a feeding program in Baclaran, Parañaque City.
PP Ebot Tan, Rtn. Thotie Torres, Rtn. Hiroki Nakatsuka and IPSDG/PAG/PP Frank Evaristo attended The Philippines-Japan Economic Cooperation Committee Meeting Delegates’ Call on President Duterte at Malacañang Palace, Manila.
