On the request of the Embassy of Japan, Former National Security Adviser Roilo Golez had a meeting with Congresswoman Rui MATSUKAWA, Member of the House of Councillors (Upper Chamber) of Japan last May 2, 2018 at Terry's Bistro Salcedo in Makati City. Congresswoman MATSUKAWA sought Golez's views on the South China Sea, Philippine-China relations and Philippine relations with other countries like Japan, US, Australia and how Japan and the Philippines should work together to face common security concerns and threats.
