Eulogy

Former Congressman and National Security Adviser Roilo Golez was a specialist on national security and foreign relations, parliamentarian, soldier, civil servant, and a distinguished Rotarian, who served the nation well. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, he cleaned up the Philippine Postal Service and attended to national security issues including the Communist insurgency, outbreaks in the Muslim rebellion, peace-making and sovereignty issues in the South China Sea.

He will be well-remembered as a great Filipino, man of the family, and an outstanding public servant.
