Pres. Susing Pineda calls the 32nd weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Manila to order.

PP Benny Laguesma as Officer-In-Charge/Program Moderator, directs the program of activities.

PD Oscar del Rosario delivers an ecumenical prayer.

Rtn Bodo Goerlich as lead reciter of the Four (4) Way Test, renews fellow Rotarians’ commitment to the Rotary Movement.

Rtn Vic Garcia III introduces the personalities seated at the presidential table. While for the guests and visiting Rotarians list were acknowledged/flashed over the wide screen in the interest of time.

Pres. Susing Pineda presents a club bannerette to a first-time visiting Rotarian, President Ed Bullecer, from RCM daughter Rotary Club of Davao.

Rotaractor Al Francis Gaw updates the Rotarians on the various activities dubbed “Philippine Round Trip” of the club-sponsored Rotaract Club of Manila.

Pres. Susing Pineda during his president’s time announced a P240,000 benefactor to the REAP, a close friend of his. He also reminded fellow RCMers’ on the scheduled “Appreciation Dinner” at the Okada Manila Resorts Hotel where a big number of participants have enlisted attendance in viber. An announcement and reminder to fellow RCMers’ of the forthcoming dinner meeting with Professor Muhammad Yunus on March 21st.

Pres. Susing Pineda presents the lone weekly birthday celebrant in attendance, Dir. Issam Eldebs for the traditional blowing of candle on the birthday cake amidst the singing by the RCM World Famous Chorale of the happy birthday song.

DE/BLA Amading Valdez does the honor, pleasure and privilege of introducing Hon. Jose C. Calida, Solicitor General, Republic of the Philippines, as guest of honor and speaker.

Solicitor General Jose C. Calida spoke on the policies, plans and programs of his office, and cited some of its past cases, being the law office of the Philippine Government. An interactive public forum followed suit right after his speech.

Among the participants to the public forum were: VP Lance Masters, Dir. Isssam Eldebs, Rtn. Zdenek Jankovsky, Rtn. Johnny Chotrani, PD Oscar del Rosario, PVP Chito Zaldarriaga, PD Beda Fajardo and PE Jackie Rodriguez.

Pres. Susing Pineda for his response, presentation of the centennial plate to Solicitor General Jose C. Calida, as a token of appreciation and meeting adjournment.

Pres. Susing Pineda with D-3810 Governor Rudy Bediones award the RCM Paul Harris Fellows (FHP) to Rtn Cris Acosta – PHF Pin + 1 and Rtn Bren Egan, a new PHF.
