National Artist for Literature F. Sionil Jose shared his works and contributions to Philippine literature at the 34th weekly meeting, preceded by a press conference on the centennial celebration.

Centennial Pres. Susing Pineda, Over-all Chairman, RCM Centennial Celebration, Dir.-elect/BLA Amading Valdez, Chairman, Centennial Anniversary Celebration and DE/Treas. Nicky Villaseñor meet the press for the Club’s Centennial Celebration promotion of its various program of activities, in collaboration with the The Philippine STAR as the official media partner, held prior to the Club luncheon meeting last Thursday, at the New World Makati Hotel.
Mr. Ricky Alegre, former assistant secretary of the Department of Tourism was on hand as program moderator. A question and answer followed suit after the presentation by the Club officers.

Pres. Susing Pineda during his president’s time announces on the REAP Benefactors to meet the Scholars at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines on Friday, March 29, at PUP. He also announced the Townhall Meeting on Thursday, April 4, for updates on the Club’s Centennial Celebration in June activities.

An interactive public forum followed suit right after his speech. Among the participants to the public forum were: PE Jackie Rodriguez, PVP Chito Zaldarriaga, Rtn. Tong Payumo, Rtn. Henning Karcher, Rtn. Michael Cutter, BLA Amading Valdez, Rtn. Ramby Nolido and Rtn. Tony Lopez.
