Rotary Club of Manila Educational Assistance Program (REAP)
A REAP Appreciation Luncheon on April 25, 2019 honored benefactors and heard REAP scholars describe how the help changed their lives.
Last April 25, 2019, the Rotary Club of Manila Educational Assistance Program (REAP) Appreciation Luncheon was held where officials of PLM and PUP as well as selected representative REAP scholars were invited. This luncheon was staged to honor the benefactors and their generosity in making financially-challenged, but, academically-endowed students’ dreams come true.
The scholars expressed their overwhelming gratitude by narrating their life changing experiences because of the help they received. PVP Manny Dy graciously donated Php 100,000 for this program during that appreciation luncheon. Heads of both educational institutions likewise expressed their gratitude. PLM President Dr. Leonora Vasquez-de Jesus even remarked that the Rotary Club of Manila has been the biggest donor of scholarships from the institution’s inception. President Susing Pineda conveys his earnest appeal for more benefactors for the project.
