IPP Jimmie Policarpio, Chairman, Journalism Centennial Awards Committee, presented before fellow RCMers’ on this year’s search for the outstanding Journalists in the tri-media: Print, Television and Radio Categories, the awards luncheon presentation being scheduled on June 6.

Centennial Pres. Susing Pineda during his president’s time cited the importance of the Townhall (Club Assembly) meeting as the Club’s Centennial Celebration, (June 20, 21, and 22), is just around the corner. He also reminded RCMers’ who have yet to settle their Centennial celebration assessment accounts with the club secretariat. He then presided over the Townhall Meeting for the latest updates by the respective Centennial Celebration Projects Chairmen.

Chairman PD Phil Ong updated fellow RCMers’ on the Angels in Rendu Art Exhibit by the Special Children Angie Deramos and Angelica Reyes on June 15, 3PM-6PM, Cocktails, at the Art Pavilion LRI Design Plaza, 210 Nicanor Garcia St., Bel Air II, Makati City. And on the Salubong Fiesta (Welcome Cocktails Party) with RI Pres. Mark Daniel Maloney, (Rotary Year 2019-2020), as guest of honor, on June 20, 4:30PM-7:30PM, at Luna Hidalgo and Amorsolo Function Rooms, World Trade Center, Metro Manila.

Chairman Dir.-elect/Board Legal Adviser Amading Valdez updated fellow RCMers’ on the Centennial Celebration of Rotary Club of Manila and the Rotary Movement in the Philippines and in Asia, led by Centennial President Jesus M. “Susing” Pineda, Jr., with R.I. Pres. Mark Daniel Maloney, (Rotary Year 2019-2020), as guest of honor, on June 21, from 8:00AM – 9:30PM, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). Registration starts at 7:00AM.

A public forum followed suit with RCMers’ actively participating : PP Archit Bartolome, PD Phil Ong, PP Ed Reyes and PP Boy Ampil.

Chairman Vice Pres.-elect/Past. Asst. Treas. Hermie Esguerra updated fellow RCMers’ on the Centennial Gala – Celebrating 100 Years of the Rotary Club of Manila and the Rotary Movement in the Philippines and in Asia, an exclusive invitation, on June 22, 6:00PM, at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila, with the performances by award-winning world-class Filipino singer Jed Madela, and internationally acclaimed shadow play group El Gamma Penumbra and the much-awaited unveiling of the Rotary Club of Manila’s Centennial Roster, among other important aspects of the event.
