President Jackie Rodriguez bids farewell to US Ambassador Sung Y. Kim, whose valedictory speech before the Rotary clubs of the country is the day's program.
Dear Fellow Rotarians,
Every once in a while in our life, we come across very special exceptional people, people who have a great effect on us and in their humble ways give us insight and opportunities to emulate the very way they behave. Such is the person who is our Guest of Honor and Speaker today. His Excellency, the Ambassador of the United States of America, is exactly the kind of person.
Today is his last speech before the Rotary clubs of our country. He will bid us goodbye, but, we will remember him fondly today as we did yesterday and will be for tomorrow.
Ambassador, the Rotary Club of Manila wishes you the very best in every endeavor and we hope and pray for your greatest success in every facet of your life and every endeavor you wish to attain and every goal you strive for. In behalf of the Rotary Club of Manila, we dedicate this day to you while we thank you for the services you have done for our country.
