President’s Corner

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

This week our club welcomes Dr. Willie Ong, a physician nationally known, highly respected, and super intelligent with a heart of gold. These are only adjectives that describe this magnificent Filipino.

We had a great time last week with the presence of the President of the University of the Philippines. We learned a lot about the status of education in our country, the history of our great state university and the future of education in the Philippines. Thank you very much UP President Danny Concepcion.

I would also like to give thanks to the proponents and bid welcome to the new members of the Rotary Club of Manila. I am happy to see that we are getting young and energetic new members to the club.

I would also like to thank the fellowship and program committees for the hard work they have been doing and putting together for the Christmas party at the Fairmont Hotel. I heard a rumor that this will be free to each and every member. Thank you very much Chairman Jason and Chairman Jimmie. Let us make this the best Christmas party ever.

Best, Jackie
