The Board seeks membership ratification of recommended electoral reforms for the September 2020 Elections, with a seven-day deadline to reply.
Dear Fellow Manila Rotarians,
The Board of Directors for RY 2019-2020 during the Special Board Meeting held last June 26, 2020 (Friday) approved the recommended reforms of our electoral process in the light of a foreseen prohibition of in-person mass gatherings. The Board created the Electoral Reforms Committee headed by Chairman PDG Alex Cureg who submitted the recommendations to the Board and which the Board, forthwith, approved.
In view of this development, the Board is submitting the attached recommendations for ratification by the membership in time for its implementation in the September 2020 Elections. Deadline to send reply shall be seven (7) days from transmission of this notice. In the absence of the above stated reply, the new electoral guidelines shall be deemed approved.
The Board trusts that you would give this matter your utmost preferential attention in our collective desire to adapt to the new normal.
