Rotary Club of Manila Holds “Donate Blood, Save Life” Bloodletting Activity in Celebration of World Rotary Day
The February 25, 2021 bloodletting at Esguerra Farms in Lipa City, Batangas yielded 42,750 cc of blood for the Philippine Red Cross.
The successful ROTARY CLUB OF MANILA-PHILIPPINE RED CROSS BLOOD LETTING activity, entitled, “Donate Blood, Save Life”, spearheaded by RCManila Foundation Chairman/Programs Committee Chairman IPVP Hermie Esguerra, which was held last February 25, 2021 at Esguerra Farms in Lipa City, Batangas, yielded a volume of 42,750 cc (95 bags x 450cc) of blood from the 263 participants of Esguerra Farms and Stud farmhands, staff and household, all quarantined and CoVid-19 free since March 2020. The Rotary Club of Manila donated it to the Philippine Red Cross. Present to lend support were ASAG/DE/Dir. Albert Alday, DE/Dir. Johnny Chotrani, AT/Dir. Jujut Enriquez, IPD Issam Eldebs and BLA Amading Valdez with his Rotary Ann Nellie Valdez.
