Rotary Club of Manila Launches Own Version of Philippine Rotary Hymn Music Video

The Philippine Rotary Hymn was approved for adaptation by the Philippine Council of Rotary Governors (PCRG) and RotaCon by a resolution passed during their annual meeting held last February 2019 for all Rotary clubs in the Philippines to adapt the Rotary Hymn composed by PP George Canseco as the official Philippine Rotary Hymn and its singing as part of the program in all Rotary Clubs, district events, meetings and activities.

To make the hymn more relevant to the Rotary Club of Manila, Programs Committee Chairman IPVP Hermie Esguerra initiated the research of project photos that are reflective of the lyrics composed by George Canseco with respect to the activities of the Rotary Club of Manila, expanding through the centennial years of service. ASAG/DE/Dir. Albert Alday culled the activity photos from the records of the club.

This video will remind us of the service mission that our predecessors laid for Rotary Club of Manila, the first centenary Rotary Club in Asia, with the largest membership in the Philippines. Let us all listen to the music and lyrics of the Philippine Rotary Hymn of Rotary Club of Manila.
