Q: What is the policy for accounts receivable for current RCM Board and Elected Officers?

A: The following item in the Code of Policies is authoritative:

“3.5.5.2 Current Board & Officers Current Board & Elected Officers are not permitted to have Accounts Receivable Balances under any circumstances with the exception of Paul Harris Fellow Installment Plan. The Treasurer must report on any such violations to the RCM Board for further action. Appointment to position on RCM Board or as an elected officer will not be allowed if candidate has receivable balances with RCM.”

Q: What is the policy for accounts receivable for incoming RCM Board Members?

A: The following item in the Code of Policies is authoritative:

“3.5.5.1 Incoming Board & Officers Prior to election of incoming RCM Directors & Officers for the next Rotary Year, all accounts receivable balances of prospective candidates must be cleared otherwise nomination as a Director or Officer of RCM will be cancelled. The current Treasurer must prepare a Certificate of Clearance attesting to the accounts receivable balances of the prospective candidates prior to publication of nominated candidates. Candidates to the Incoming Board should clear all balances of account receivables.”
