The Programs Committee Chairman invites members to hear MMDA Chairman Benhur Abalos on community development strategies aligned with four of Rotary's Areas of Focus, 12:30 PM, August 12.
Dear Fellow Manila Rotarians,
Community development strategies are integral to ensure optimum management of local government units, especially, within the confines of Metro Manila. Noteworthy on these strategies drawn up by the Metro Manila Development Authority are their alignments with four of the seven Areas of Focus of Rotary, namely, Community Economic Development; Disease Prevention and Treatment; Water Sanitation and Hygiene and Supporting the Environment. Thus, it is, but timely, in the wake of a prevailing Enhanced Community Quarantine in the Metro Manila area and elsewhere in the country, that we have invited Hon. BENJAMIN “BENHUR” C. ABALOS JR., Chairman, Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), to enlighten us on these overall community development strategies.
