President’s Corner
President Chito Zaldarriaga shares Romans 12:12, previews the Rotary Foundation and Global Grants meeting with PDG Jun Farcon Jr., and reminds members to update annual dues.
Romans 12:12 reads: “Rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.”
Greetings Fellow Rotary Club of Manila Brothers!
I have opted to share a recent verse that I read from the bible. It seems so apt in today’s living conditions. This verse gave me a new perspective on how to deal with what is going on around us and how we should cope. I thought it best to share it with you guys. This life is not always easy – God never promised it would be. When dark days such as these surround us, we can (and should) draw strength from His constant presence – always tightly wrapped around each one of us. Let’s do our part by keeping the communication lines with Him open – via the most reliable channel ever – constant prayer!
Today’s meeting will give us a refresher on The Rotary Foundation and the dynamics of Global Grants. The guru of Global Grants will walk us through why we should give to TRF and the way to avail of Global Grants. PDG Virgilio “Jun” Farcon Jr. has graciously accepted our invitation to enlighten us all on this valued topic.
Finally, a gentle reminder to all who have not yet updated their annual dues! Please do so soonest! We need your response soonest please!
Stay well and happy mga kapatid!
Humbly yours in Rotary,
PDG Virgilio “Jun” G. Farcon Jr.
