Hola mis Hermanos del Rotary Club of Manila! (A little bit of Hispanico every once in a while never hurts anybody…)
Trust this short note finds everyone well. We continue to pray for our dear brothers dealing with various health issues. Just before this writing, I got an update from IPD Celso Abastillas that he and his Rotary Ann Ging are recovering well. We continue praying for full recovery for our dear Dir. Thad Liamzon. Our deepest sympathies to the family of our PE/PVP Hermie Esguerra’s DGE Joyce Ambray who recently lost her dad to CoVid-19.
As I am submitting for processing four (4) candidates for membership to our beloved club, I encourage one and all to PLEASE take an hour at most to do this task of making a short list of your friends, business associates, relatives and even ex-rivals in courtship. It really just takes a bit of effort to write down some names and calling up these guys just to fulfill our concerted effort for “EACH ONE, BRING ONE”. I was pleasantly surprised at the positive reaction I got when extending the invitations to these chaps. The Rotary Club of Manila really does have a positive magnetic personality folks. Let us take advantage of this!
Finally, another gentle reminder. If some of you have yet to be a Paul Harris fellow, please do so now while the peso is still at a manageable exchange rate level.
