Dear Fellow Manila Rotarians,
With a new schoolyear in full swing and quarantine protocols easing up, a mixture of online classes and pilot face to face classes pervade as safety of the kids has now become a matter of concern as vaccines for children have just begun while the families of children continue to struggle financially in obtaining gadgets for online study. It’s time we get the facts straight from the foremost pillar of the academe, the Hon. LEONOR MAGTOLIS BRIONES, Secretary of the Department of Education, as she briefs Asia’s First Rotary Club on her department’s immediate and long term plans on providing access to quality education in the midst of the pandemic. Let’s all attend and don’t be late, 12:00 PM, October 28!
