Dear Fellow Manila Rotarians,
The New Year brings us new hope - another beginning for our nation that was straddled with natural disaster caused by CoVid-19 and climate-related changes. For all the challenges that came our way, we are also thankful for the opportunities that have opened from the pandemic situation. For the good and the challenging times, we are thankful for surviving the challenge of 2021.
Let us attend the New Year Eucharistic Mass in thanksgiving and with hope. Our mass will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Alex Balatbat at 11:30 AM. Thereafter, at 12:30 PM, we will proceed with the main programming of our inaugural meeting of the year with one of our very own, Hon. BENJAMIN “BEN” E. DIOKNO, Ph.D., Governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Chairman of the Monetary Board, Professor Emeritus of the University of the Philippines and Vice President of the Rotary Club of Manila, RY 2010-2011, who will be in our midst to share with us how our nation was able to rise above the economic havoc caused by calamities affecting the whole world and what are the plans and projected economic plan for 2022.
It’s time to begin a brand new year with a new mix, 11:30 AM, January 6.
