Message of Thanks on Behalf of the Children Cancer Care Committee

I would like to thank all of you who gave a hand of help in the RCM PGH Cancer-stricken Children’s Committee in its very successful assistance to the children of PGH and their families last December 22, 2021. Gratitude goes to each and everyone of you for the help you’ve extended, both financially and materially, especially, to those of you who extended a hand of help in the physical assistance so needed to complete the job. I refer to STAR Rtn. Joshua Aragon and STAR Rtn. Anton Mauricio, Rtn. Juan Montel, ES Anna Kun Toledo and the outstanding Rotary staff who are always there for us.

For those of you who donated funds, we only spent Php 100,000 in this effort. I personally donated Php 25,000 in Christmas and New Year Food Provision for the families of the cancer victims.

While we cannot solve all the problems of society, we continue, as Rotarians, to try our best to give them the best we can of ourselves to those who need our help. Once again, the stars have shone brightly in this effort. Thank you Rotary Club of Manila for all your help which we have delivered in your behalf for the smiling children who received your gifts and food which immensely helped make the Christmas season just a bit better. Congratulations!!!

Joaquin “Jackie” C. Rodriguez, District Governor Nominee Designate, Rotary District 3810 RY 2021-2022
