The Week That Was

Rtn. Jun Hallare moderated and facilitated the flow of the 7th Regular Meeting. Sounding the bell, Pres. Hermie Esguerra called this month’s face-to-face meeting to order.

Humbly calling upon our loving Father God, STAR Rtn. Caloy Serapio led the Invocation and Special Prayer.

The British National Anthem followed by the Philippine National Anthem was made more meaningful and animated by the Rotary Club of Manila Audiovisual Presentation , featuring captivating images of Manila Rotarians.

The World Famous Music Chorale Audiovisual Presentation of the RC Manila Hymn and El Gamma Penumbra and the singing of the Philippine Rotary Hymn meaningfully touched the Rotarian spirit of everyone in attendance.

Rtn. Teddy Tee Jr. led the recitation of the time-honored Four (4) Way Test.

The World Famous Chorale sang RCM’s signature Welcome Song to the delight of the guests and visitors. The Club’s Visiting Guests and Rotarians were duly acknowledged, giving importance to their presence in the meeting.

Rtn. Jun Hallare , Program Moderator/Facilitator, acknowledged the week’s birthday celebrants, namely: PDSAA Ike Stranathan , Rtn. Mathias Hallerbach , Rtn. Mike Guarin , Rtn. Marvin Taylor-Dormon , PDSAA Val Aboy , Rtn. Joey Garcia and Rtn. Roberto Locsin . This was followed by the World Famous Music Chorale singing the happy birthday song.

The Rotary Club of Manila, through Pres. Hermie Esguerra , conferred the Honorary Membership to R.I. President-Elect Gordon R. McInally (Rotary Club of South Queensferry West Lothian, Scotland).

DGE Lilian H. Dela Cruz introduced District Governor Joyce Michelle Ambray .

DG Joyce Ambray delivered her District Governor’s message.

Pres. Hermie Esguerra once again highlighted the Rotary events that took place in the past week during his President’s time.

PDG Everett Olivan introduced Guest of Honor and Speaker R.I. President- Elect Gordon R. McInally .

Guest of Honor and Speaker R.I. President-Elect Gordon R. McInally delivered an uplifting, interesting and informative talk.

President Hermie Esguerra and District Governor Joyce Ambray jointly presented the Certificate of Appreciation, attested by Club Secretary Edwin Hernandez , to Guest of Honor and Speaker R.I. President-Elect Gordon R. McInally .
