Report on the Rotary Club of Manila weekly meeting, with the mock election and a talk by Guest of Honor and Speaker Clarita R. Carlos, PhD.
The 9th Regular Meeting had Rtn. Jet Ledda as Program Moderator/ Facilitator. Sounding the bell, Pres. Hermie Esguerra called the meeting to order.
Humbly calling upon our loving Father God, Rtn. John Bautista Jr. led the Invocation and Special Prayer.
The Philippine National Anthem was made more meaningful and alive by the Rotary Club of Manila Audiovisual Presentation , featuring captivating images of Manila Rotarians.
The World Famous Music Chorale
Audiovisual Presentation of the RC Manila Hymn and the singing of the Philippine Rotary Hymn again electrified everybody’s Rotarian spirit.
Rtn. Inov Talusan facilitated the holding of the Mock Election.
IPP Chito Zaldarriaga gave out pre-election reminders and advisory. He also announced the result of mock election.
Rtn. Tony Meloto led the recitation of the Four (4) Way Test.
STAR Rtn. Jop Esquivas , Program Moderator/Facilitator, acknowledged the week’s birthday celebrants, namely Rtn. Juan Montel , Rtn. Deo Villacorta and Rtn. Richard Ang . This was followed by the World Famous Music Chorale singing the happy birthday song.
PD John Cutter introduced the Guest of Honor and Speaker Honorable Clarita R. Carlos, PhD. , National Security Adviser, Director General, National Security Council.
Guest of Honor and Speaker Honorable Clarita R. Carlos, PhD. delivered an interesting and informative talk.
Pres. Hermie Esguerra once again highlighted the Rotary events that took place in the past week during his President’s time.
Important points were further elucidated and clarified during the open forum participated by Rtn. Joel Valdes , IPD Amading Valdez , Dir. Hans Palacios , Dir. Raffy Alunan , Rtn. Ronald Martinez and Pres. Hermie Esguerra .
