The Week That Was

The World Famous Music Chorale's Audiovisual Presentation of the RC Manila Hymn and the singing of the Philippine Rotary Hymn again electrified everybody’s Rotarian spirit.

The 11th Regular Meeting had Rtn. Raf Dionisio as Program Moderator/Facilitator. Sounding the bell, Pres. Hermie Esguerra called the meeting to order.

The Philippine National Anthem was made more meaningful and alive by the Rotary Club of Manila Audiovisual Presentation, featuring captivating images of Manila Rotarians.

Humbly calling upon our loving Father God, Rtn. JB Pallasigue led the Invocation and Special Prayer.

STAR Rtn. Teddy Garcia led the recitation of the Four (4) Way Test.

The week’s birthday celebrants were duly acknowledged, namely Rtn. Claver Ramos, Rtn. Bolie Bolton, Rtn. Randy Del Valle, PD Art Lopez, Rtn. Che Soler and Rtn. Chami Chahwan. This was followed by the World Famous Music Chorale singing the happy birthday song.

The World Famous Chorale sang RCM’s signature Welcome Song to the delight of the guests and visitors.

The Moderator acknowledged and introduced the Visiting Guests and Rotarians.

PSAA Dave Reynolds led the RCM’s heartfelt tribute to Queen Elizabeth.

Pres. Hermie Esguerra highlighted the current projects and various Rotary events that took place in the past week during his President’s time.

Rtn. Rami Chahwan shared his experience during the Community Service Project of RCM last Saturday.

PE Raffy Alunan delivered his message after his recent election as the next RCM President.

Rtn. Robi Joseph introduced the Guest of Honor and Speaker His Excellency Agus Widjojo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of the Philippines.

Guest of Honor and Speaker His Excellency Agus Widjojo delivered an interesting and informative talk.

Important points were further discussed and clarified during the open forum participated by Rtn. Joel Valdes, Sec. Edwin Hernandez, Rtn. Vic Garcia, PD John Cutter, Rtn. Art Lopez, SAA Jason Bogovich, Rtn. Raf Dionisio and Pres. Hermie Esguerra.

Pres. Hermie Esguerra delivered his closing remarks and adjourned the meeting.
