19th Regular Meeting: A Recap
Hon. Mark O. Cojuangco, Representative of the 2nd District of Pangasinan, presented his advocacy for the country to utilize nuclear energy as guest of honor and speaker.
The singing of the Philippine Rotary Hymn again electrified everybody’s Rotarian spirit. Rtn. Anton Mauricio acted as the Program Moderator/ Facilitator of the 19th Regular Meeting. Sounding the bell, Pres. Hermie Esguerra called the meeting to order. The Philippine National Anthem was sang and made more meaningful and alive by the Rotary Club of Manila Audiovisual Presentation, featuring captivating images of Manila Rotarians.
Setting the tone for the meeting, and humbly calling upon our loving Father God, STAR Rtn. Tony Echavez led the Invocation and Special Prayer. Rtn. Lance Tan led the recitation of the Four (4) Way Test.
The World Famous Chorale sang RCM’s signature Welcome Song to the delight of the guests and visitors.
A Manila Rotary Club meeting always attracts notable visitors and guests. The Moderator acknowledged and introduced the Visiting Guests and Rotarians.
Pres. Hermie Esguerra delivered his president’s time.
The week’s birthday celebrants were duly acknowledged, namely: PD Beda Fajardo, PAS Henry Go and PVP/U.S. Ambassador Babe Romualdez. This was followed by the World Famous Music Chorale singing its special and unique happy birthday song.
CP Susing Pineda introduced the Guest of Honor and Speaker Hon. Mark O. Cojuangco, Representative, 2nd District of Pangasinan, House of Representatives, 19th Congress, 2022-2025.
Guest of Honor and Speaker Hon. Mark O. Cojuangco presented his advocacy for the country to utilize nuclear energy to address, among others, the rising cost of electricity.
Important matters were further discussed and clarified during the open forum participated by Dir. Hans Palacios, BLA Raoul Creencia, Pres. Hermie Esguerra, STAR Rtn. Bertel Bertelsen, Rtn. Basti Lacson, Rtn. Rami Chahwan, DGN Jackie Rodriguez, Rtn. Johnny Chotrani and Rtn. Joel Valdes.
Pres. Hermie Esguerra delivered his closing remarks and adjourned the meeting.
President Hermie Esguerra and Programs Committee Chairman IPD Amading Valdez handed the Certificate of Appreciation, duly attested by Club Secretary Edwin Hernandez, to Guest of Honor and Speaker Hon. Mark O. Cojuangco.
The accompanying audiovisual presentation of the RC Manila Hymn, featuring the World Famous Music Chorale, made the singing of the Club’s hymn more heartfelt and meaningful.
