20th Regular Meeting: A Recap

STAR Rtn. Philip Brian Wombwell led the recitation of the Four (4) Way Test.

The 20th Regular Meeting had Rtn. Joel Valdes as Program Moderator/ Facilitator. Sounding the bell, Pres. Hermie Esguerra called the meeting to order. Two national anthems were sang: the USA National Anthem and the Philippine National Anthem. The latter was made more meaningful and alive by the Rotary Club of Manila Audiovisual Presentation, featuring captivating images of Manila Rotarians.

Humbly calling upon our loving Father God, STAR Rtn. Xavy Zialcita led the Invocation and Special Prayer.

Everyone’s Rotarian spirit was inspired with the singing of the Philippine Rotary Hymn, made more meaningful with the accompanying audiovisual presentation.

The World Famous Chorale sang RCM’s signature Welcome Song to the delight of the guests and visitors. The Moderator acknowledged and introduced the Visiting Guests and Rotarians.

Pres. Hermie Esguerra delivered his president’s time.

The week’s birthday celebrants were duly acknowledged, namely Rtn. Gerry Magbanua and Rtn. Martin Romualdez. This was followed by the World Famous Music Chorale singing the happy birthday song.

PD Nick Locsin introduced the Guest Speaker -- Christopher Wiseman, President, Rotary Club of San Francisco, U.S.A. (RY 2022-2023).

Guest Speaker RCSF President Christopher Wiseman delivered a truly wonderful message.

Past President Mary Liu, RC San Francisco made a presentation of the initiative that is being jointly pursued by the RCM and RCSF.

Important matters were further discussed and clarified during the open forum participated by Pres. Hermie Esguerra, PD Oca Del Rosario, Rtn. John Michael Cutter, and PD Beda Fajardo.

Pres. Hermie Esguerra delivered his closing remarks and adjourned the meeting.

President Hermie Esguerra and Programs Committee Chairman IPD Amading Valdez presented the Certificate of Appreciation, attested by Club Secretary Edwin Hernandez, to Guest Speaker Christopher Wiseman, President, Rotary Club of San Francisco, U.S.A. RY 2022-2023.

The World Famous Music Chorale Audiovisual Presentation propelled the inspired singing of the RC Manila Hymn.
