Christmas Message from Pres. Hermie Esguerra
President Hermie Esguerra greets members at Christmas Fellowship 2022, voicing thanks for the year’s projects and confidence in the Club overcoming its challenges.
Let us all joyfully welcome the Christmas season, because as we will concede, we need a Christmas miracle now more than ever.
Today, as we celebrate this season of hope, love and forgiveness, I (together with the members of the Board and Club officers) wish to move forward precisely in this spirit — of love and forgiveness.
Today is also an opportune time for us to be thankful for the many blessings, as well as the many impactful projects that we, Manila Rotarians, were able to successfully pursue and accomplish.
We know that our Club has undergone and is currently undergoing a challenging phase. In this regard, I express my firm belief in the wisdom and judiciousness of the Board, officers, and the general membership, to be able to ably overcome all these challenges.
In due time, this will happen. As the Good Book says —
“There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens. A time to give birth, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant. A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to tear down, and a time to build.”
I greet you all a merry Christmas.
Let’s continue to rock and roll as brothers in Rotary!
