Citation of Raul C. Pagdanganan, CPA

With the formidable completion of his secondary education as the batch valedictorian at Calumpit Institute (now Colegio de Calumpit), he carried on with an ardent educational cruise to one of the country’s highly wished-for academes – the University of the Philippines, for his tertiary instruction with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy in 1981. Thereupon, he set off as a Licensed/ Certified Public Accountant, with no less than being on the Licensure Examination’s Top 20.

He spared no effort and very soon made a name that lingers…The world of the competent and well-qualified came to know of his existence. He generously empowered the various institutions and establishments with which he was affiliated at one point with his wisdom and skills. He is the former President and CEO of De Los Santos Medical Center. He also became the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Jesus Delgado Memorial Hospital and the Board Director of Marikina Valley Medical Center.

He is incessantly blasting off his awe-inspiring walk of life . Currently, he acts as the President & CEO of Cardinal Santos Medical Center. Concurrently he is the President of Colinas Healthcare, Inc. (CHI) and President of Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation, Inc. (CMCFI) . Just recenty, he was chosen as one of the Members of the Board of Regents of the University of the Philippines.

The most prestigious award-giving bodies won’t be able to repel the delight which is definitely evident in his achievements. He was recognized by the Rotary Club District 3780, “2018 Rotary Golden Wheel Award for Good Governance in Hospital Administration”; then, by the City of Mandaluyong in the “2019 Ulirang Mandaleno Award for Leadership and Professional Excellence”’ and ultimately, by our own Provincial Government as “Gawad Dangal Ng Lipi 2022 para sa Kalusugan”. He has indeed brought so much honor and pride to our beloved institution.. Truly, he is not just a man of knowledge but someone with a good heart. His Alma Mater is truly proud of him.
