31st Regular Meeting: A Recap

Rtn. Ronald Martinez led the recitation of the Four (4) Way Test.

The 31st Regular Meeting had AT PJ Garcia as Program Moderator/Facilitator.

Sounding the bell, Pres. Hermie Esguerra called the meeting to order.

The live singing of the Philippine National Anthem was made more meaningful and alive by the Rotary Club of Manila Audiovisual Presentation, featuring captivating images of Manila Rotarians.

Humbly calling upon our loving Father God, STAR Rtn. Billy Andal led the Invocation and Special Prayer.

Singing the Philippine Rotary Hymn together, everybody’s Rotarian spirit was again electrified.

The Moderator acknowledged and introduced the Visiting Guests and Rotarians.

This was followed by the World Famous Chorale’s singing of RCM’s signature Welcome Song to the delight of the guests and visitors.

The World Famous Music Chorale led the members in singing the RC Manila Hymn.

The week’s birthday celebrants were duly acknowledged, namely Rtn. JB Pallasigue and STAR Rtn. Benedict Ibuyan. This was followed by the singing of the Club’s unique and jolly birthday song, led by the World Famous Music Chorale.

New Members were presented by their respective Sponsors, namely:

Daniel C. Obrado, Chief Executive Officer, KERALTY PHILIPPINES. Classification: Health Service – Health Maintenance Organization. Proposer: DGN Joaquin “Jackie” Rodriguez Sr.

DGN Jackie Rodriguez led the charging of new members.

Pres. Hermie Esguerra officiated the Induction of the new members.

RCMFI Asst. Treas. Willie Peliño, Chairman RCM Golf Cup, gave a status report about the upcoming golf tournament dubbed as the RCM Cup, to be held at Sta. Elena Golf Club.

Pres. Hermie Esguerra gave his weekly update to the Manila Rotarians during the President’s time.

Guest of Honor Speaker Mr. Margarito “Gary” V. Teves delivered his interesting and thought-provoking speech.

PD Rod Valencia introduced the Guest of Honor and Speaker Mr. Margarito “Gary” V. Teves, Former Secretary of the Department of Finance and Former Member of the House of Representatives.

A Special Token of Appreciation was given by Pres. Hermie Esguerra to the Guest Speaker.

Important and interesting matters were further discussed and elucidated during the open forum participated by Dir. Tony Lopez, PP Archit Bartolome and AT PJ Garcia.

Pres. Hermie Esguerra delivered his closing remarks and adjourned the meeting.

A Special Token of Appreciation was also given by the Program Chairman Amading Valdez.
