39th Regular Meeting: A Recap

No less than the Chairman of the Program Committee, PD Amading Valdez, acted as Moderator/Facilitator during the 39th Regular Meeting held at New World Makati Hotel. Sounding the bell, Pres. Hermie Esguerra called the meeting to order. Humbly calling upon our loving Father and setting the tone for the meeting, PD Issam Eldebs led the Invocation. The Manila Rotarians in attendance sang the Philippine National Anthem, accompanied by an Audio-visual Presentation featuring captivating images of Manila Rotarians. PD John Cutter led the recitation of the Rotarian Pledge and the Four-Way Test.

The World Famous Music Chorale led the singing of the Philippine Rotary Hymn and the RC Manila Hymn.

The Visiting Guests and Rotarians were duly acknowledged by the Moderator; after which, and with much gusto, the World Famous Chorale sang RCM’s signature Welcome Song, to the delight of the guests. The week’s birthday celebrants were duly acknowledged, namely PD Bebot Pineda and Rtn. Jackie Rodriguez, Jr. This was followed by the singing of the Club’s unique and jolly birthday song led by the World Famous Music Chorale

Dir. Albert Alday presented a new member – Mr. Nathaniel Camat (Vice President, Pascal Resources Energy, Inc.), Classification: Trading - Domestic Gas Distributing. His co-proposer: STAR Rtn. Aries Balanay. With inspiring word and relevant reminders, PDG Alex Cureg gave an eloquent charging of the new member.

Pres. Hermie Esguerra administered the oath of office of STAR Rotarian Nathaniel Camat. Pres. Hermie Esguerra delivered his President’s Time.

The open forum was participated by Dir. Hans Palacios, SAA Nagi Zeioutuin, DGN Jackie Rodriguez, Rtn. Rahmi Chahwan, Rtn. Teddy Kalaw IV, PD Nick Locsin, and PDG Rudy Bediones. Pres. Hermie Esguerra delivered his closing remarks and adjourned the meeting.
