42nd Weekly Membership Meeting: A Recap
Richard J. Gordon, former Senator and Chairman and CEO of the Philippine Red Cross, was the guest of honor and speaker at the meeting presided over by VP Reggie Yu.
Meeting Moderator PD Issam Eldebs requested the members and guests to take their seats and invited the presider of the meeting, VP Reggie Yu, to call the meeting to order. VP Reggie Yu called the 42nd weekly membership meeting to order in the absence of Pres. Hermie Esguerra.
A thanksgiving and invocation prayer was led by Dir. Hans Palacios. STAR Rtn. Daniel Obrado led Rotarians in the recitation of the Rotarian pledge, which was followed with the presentation of 4-Way Test video.
The RCM Music “World Famous” Chorale led the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the Rotary hymn. PAS Joel Valdes had the honor of introducing the guest of honor and speaker. The Honorable Richard J Gordon, former Senator, incumbent Chairman and CEO of the Philippine Red Cross.
During the Open Forum, Manila Rotarians actively engaged the Guest Speaker and propounded questions. Those who participated were IPP Chito Zaldarriaga, PD Oscar del Rosario, Sr., Dir. Tony Lopez, Dir. Hans Palacios and STAR Rtn. Dan Obrado. VP Reggie Yu presented the Club’s token of appreciation to the Guest of Honor and Speaker. VP Reggie Yu delivered a brief response before adjourning the 41st meeting of weekly membership meeting.
