President’s Diary

My dear fellow Manila Rotarians,

It is with great pleasure and a sense of accomplishment that I present to you this week’s President's Diary. Last Thursday, during our 43rd Weekly Membership Meeting, we proudly hosted the 2023 Pro Patria Journalism Awards, one of RC Manila's institutional projects. This event served as a testament to the unwavering dedication of our club in recognizing outstanding journalists who share our commitment to truth, fairness, and the well-being of our society. We were all proud to honor those who have demonstrated a relentless pursuit of excellence in their craft. These journalists have exemplified the highest standards of integrity, fearlessness, and responsibility in their work. Their stories have shed light on critical issues, inspired change, and united communities. We applaud their unwavering commitment to the truth and their profound impact on society.

The RCM Golf Cup 2023 at Sta. Elena Golf Club organized by RCManila Foundation, Inc. (RCMFI) has been a successful fundraising event. I congratulate the collective efforts of RCMFI Chairman Jose A. Nuñez Jr., RCMFI President Joselito Sibayan, RCMFI Asst. Secretary and Golf Tournament Director Wilfredo Peliño, and the esteemed members of the RCMFI Board. The event not only fostered camaraderie and friendly competition among Rotarians, partners, and sponsors but also supported a meaningful cause.

Ceremonial Tee Off: Yours truly, RCManila Foundation, Inc. Chair Jose “Pepo” Nuñez Jr.
