3rd Weekly Membership Meeting: A Recap

Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa shared the Department of Health's priorities as guest speaker, and Board members who missed the inaugural meeting were inducted.

The Membership Meeting Proper

Rtn. Brix Pujalte, Program Moderator, invited the members and guests to take their seats as the program was about to start. Pres. Raffy Alunan called the meeting to order with the ringing of the Rotary Bell using the Rotary Gavel. Rtn. Caloy Buendia rendered a heartfelt doxology with the soulful singing of “Our Father.”

STAR Rtn. Paul Koh enjoined the members and Visiting Rotarians to renew their pledge to live by the Rotary 4-Way Test. Rtn. Brix Pujalte, MD acknowledged the presence of H.E. Miguel Utray, Ambassador of Spain to the Philippines, visiting Rotarians, Rotaractors, guests of members, as well as the guests of Secretary Herbosa.

RCM World Famous Chorale warmly welcomed visiting Rotarians, Rotaractors, and guests with a joyful singing of the RCM Welcome Song.

President’s Time: Pres. Raffy Alunan updated the members of the ongoing and upcoming activities of the club.

PD John Cenica, MD introduced the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

Hon. Health Secretary Teodoro “Ted” Herbosa, MD, shared with the members and guests the priority undertakings of the Department of Health. Members and guests intently listened to the Guest Speaker as he unveiled the new policies and initiatives of the Department of Health. Sec. Herbosa was engaging and candid during the Open Forum.

Pres. Raffy Alunan presented the Club’s Token of Appreciation to Sec. Ted Herbosa. Wrapping up another successful membership meeting, Pres. Raffy Alunan delivered his Closing Remarks and signaled the Adjournment.

Fellowship Time

Birthday celebrants of the week, PDG Rudy Bediones and PDG Obet Pagdanganan were serenaded by the membership, led by the RCM Music Chorale.

Induction of the Board of Directors and Officers

PDG Obet Pagdanganan led the induction of the Directors and Officers who missed the inaugural meeting last July 6, 2023. Formally being committed to their respective duties as Director and officers were Dir. Johny Chotrani, Treas. Paul Joseph Garcia, and Sgt. at Arms Jason Bogovich.
