On August 1, 2023, Kacific Broadband Satellite Group meets with President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. at Malacañang Palace to explain its plans of helping the Philippine government ensure its connectivity security and sustainability through broadband satellite services.

The Philippines' investment arm, the National Development Company (NDC) is aiming to invest in Kacific, specifically to acquire frequency blocks from the planned Kacific 2 satellite, due for launch in 2027. This would ensure the country's long-term connectivity requirements and better expand telecom & internet connections, especially to unserved and underserved areas in the Philippines.
