Invocation

Let us all pray for divine guidance today and hereafter and follow me in silence.

Dear Almighty and Loving Father Please bless this General Membership Meeting so that it will accomplish the purpose of this convocation;

Please bless the members of the Rotary Club of Manila and other Rotarians who are here that they realize the importance of the 4-Way Test as their code of conduct that gives meaning and purpose to the Rotary movement, that they realize that the 4-Way Test is not only to be recited like an oath of allegiance during membership meetings but to be considered as the way of Rotary life to be lived by all Rotarians in the actual conduct of their Rotary life and affairs and in their daily relationship.

that they realize that although RCM welcomes opinion for exchange of ideas, fellowship to strengthen bonding, and prayers for the kindness and compassion that they breed in our hearts, Rotary needs more our action (actual deeds) to deliver service beyond self to the less fortunate of our brothers especially in times of emergency.

that they realize the 4-Way Test can be very well be part of our daily conduct of life outside of Rotary.

that they should further realize that being the first Rotary Club in the Philippines and in Asia, RCM has the responsibility of being the Model Club in perpetuating and sustaining the noble objectives of Rotary at least in our country.

Dear Almighty Father that in the coming election of the Board of Directors please make all members realize to vote those with genuine commitment to serve RCM, have tract record of good management of their own affairs and can unite the whole membership as a peacemaker; and

Last but not least, please bless our Guest Speaker Sec. MA. ESPERANZA CHRISTINA CODILLA GARCIA-FRASCO with good health and patriotic fervor to bring the best in Filipino culture and the nation’s rich natural endowment to the attention and patronage of our local tourists and the whole world. Amen.
