Malnutrition Project
On September 18, 2023, club leaders discussed the Coalition Against Malnutrition and Standard Development and a proposed partnership with the Management Association of the Philippines.

On September 18, 2023, Pres. Raffy Alunan, Dir. Mike Albaña, BLA Raoul Creencia, Disease Prevention & Treatment Chairman PD John Cutter, together with Maternal and Child Care Chairman PD John Cenica, discussed the Coalition Against Malnutrition and Standard Development. They explored three options for action: intervention, awareness building, and education. The group reached a consensus that education and awareness hold the greatest potential for long-term impact. Additionally, they discussed the need for funding and marketing.
The group also discussed their malnutrition project as a proposed partnership with the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), as the best way to contribute to the effort on education and advocacy. They agreed that education and awareness building are crucial, but they need more data and statistics to determine where to deliver their services. Dir. Mike Albaña suggested implementing sustainable programs like school feeding initiatives and community-based nutrition interventions.
Finally, the group, through Pres. Alunan, will schedule a meeting with MAP to determine how the Rotary Club of Manila can be effective in contributing to the effort of education and establish what RCM can bring to the identified population for this campaign.
