Celebrating Academic Achievement: PSAA Gunter Matschuck Receives Golden DoctorCap

In 1972, PSAA Gunter Matschuck presented his dissertation as Doctor of Engineering at the Institute of Thermodynamics of the prestigious Technical University of Aachen (currently ranked 96 worldwide by the faculty). After 6 years of research in a program to reduce harmful emissions caused by the combustion mechanism in a rotation symmetric Methane flame, his Alma Mater, the RWTH Technical University, presented him and the 6 other survivors with the golden DoctorCap and a renewal of their Dr.Ing certificate. The presentation took place on September 2, conducted by the Rector of the University, in the presence of a festive audience.
