33rd Weekly Membership Meeting: A Recap

Program Moderator

The weekly meeting moderator was PD Beda G. Fajardo who proficiently navigated the sequence of the meeting. He began by inviting Manila Rotarians to be seated to allow the meeting to officially commence.

Call to Order

On behalf of Pres. Rafael “Raffy” M. Alunan III, Sec. Edwin H. Hernandez, called the 33rd weekly membership meeting to order.

Invocation

Rotarians Carlos ‘Caloy’ C. Buendia and D. Edgard ‘Ed’ A. Cabangon led the invocation for the membership. Ed led the recitation of a beautifully written piece, while Caloy rendered a powerful prayer song.

Philippine National Anthem & Manila Rotary Hymn

Rotary Members and guests took a position of respect as they sang the Philippine National Anthem and the Rotary Hymn.

Four-Way Test

Rotarians were again reminded of their commitment to live by the Four-Way Test, with the recitation of this mantra led by Rtn. Isidro “Butch” C. Alcantara.

Welcome Song

Keeping with tradition, the guests were serenaded by the World Famous RCM Chorale with the Club’s signature welcome song.

President’s Time

On behalf of President Raffy Alunan, Sec. Edwin H. Hernandez welcomed the members and guests.

Introduction of the Guest of Honor & Speaker

PP Domingo “Boy” S.B. Guevara, Jr. introduced the guest speaker.

Delivering a truly apt and meaningful message before the Holy Week break, Rev. Fr. Jerry M. Orbos captivated everyone in attendance.

Token of Appreciation
