Joshua Rueben Aragon

Profile of Joshua Rueben Aragon, Assistant Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Manila for Rotary Year 2024-2025, whose blood-letting project won the Community Service Award.

Joshua Rueben Aragon

Rotarian Joshua Aragon joined the Rotary Club of Manila in 2022 upon the sponsorship of PD Marcus Dee and is currently serving as RCM's Assistant Treasurer. His outstanding service project, a joint blood-letting initiative with the Philippine Red Cross and RCM members, won the Community Service Award for Rotary Year 2023-2024. This project has been instrumental in collecting life-saving blood to meet the critical needs of patients requiring transfusions.

Josh, as he is affectionately known, has been married to Wan-Ju Hsieh since 2021. He holds an MS in Manufacturing Engineering and Management, specializing in Biomedical Engineering, from De La Salle University, and he completed his Executive Masters in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management in 2014. Josh is also a licensed Real Estate Broker and a Certified BERDE Professional.

Throughout his career, Josh has successfully founded and exited several high-growth startups in e-commerce, agri-tech, and prop-tech, showcasing his expertise in innovative business solutions and leadership. He also held numerous positions with non-government organizations, including Go Tong Foundation, Alibaba Group's eFounder Fellow, Philippine Red Cross - QC Chapter, JCI Manila, Federation of Electrical and Electronics Suppliers and Manufacturers in the Philippines (PESA), and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), among others.
